Michael Harris: The owner and president, was raised in the Dallas Metroplex area. He is a home grown Texan with integrity, honesty, commitment and drive. He is a husband and father of four sons: Bryan, Joshua, Luke and Mark. The company was started after the first two boys, hence the name “BRY-JO”.
Michael began his career in the roofing industry as an installer in 1986. In 1998 he became an Estimator and Project Manager for a local general contractor who specialized in insurance losses. He obtained his adjusters license in 1998 and worked as a claims adjuster for two years. While adjusting property claims, it became very obvious to him that people were in need of better service from their contractors. He observed substandard repairs and frustrated customers without repercussion. In 2000 he re-entered the Construction / General Contracting field.
Michael is a certified Contractor (certification #179) with the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas developed the Certification Program to increase consumer protection and secure the public confidence in the roofing industry by elevating the roofing contractor’s knowledge, skills and professionalism through voluntary self-regulation.”
BRY-JO also received it's Certificate of Registration with the Texas Residential Construction Commission in 2004. Registered Builder No. 15025.
Maria Harris: Vice President, Office Manager and Financial Officer of BRY-JO, is Michael's wife. She is responsible for all business office operations. Prior to her working with Michael, she was a Certified Litigation Paralegal. She also has an employment background in Business Management. Maria has helped BRY-JO become a financially secure and reputable company. She is dedicated to responding to calls and concerns quickly. Maria shares her husband’s commitment to exceptional customer care and service.
Brad Williams: Job Superintendent/ Production Manager. Brad is a native Texan- born in Temple, raised in Tyler and currently residing in Fannin County. He has been married for 30 years, has two grown sons and two beautiful grandchildren.
At BRY-JO, Brad is responsible primarily for the management of the remodeling and repair projects. His previous experience in construction is comprised of eight years as a remodeling superintendent specializing in bathrooms and kitchens. Prior to that, he had more than twenty seven years of residential new home construction framing, installing trim and building cabinetry. Some of his projects were in the multi-million dollar range (even a few celebrities!)
Mahlon Mattal: Lead Carpenter/ Handyman. Mahlon has almost 20 years of residential remodeling experience. Fifteen of those years were spent in upscale residential neighborhoods of California, including Beverly Hills and Malibu. Mahlon is more than a handyman. He specializes in the installation of sound systems, custom tile and carpentry finish out. He lives in Frisco with his wife of 15 years. They have two daughters and three Great Danes.
