Very pleased with the design suggestions and quality of the work. I have used BRYJO in the past and they never let me down. As expected with older houses, we ran into a few surprises, but the contractors they hired were professional and there to help. They cleaned up daily and repaired anything that was compromised by the wear-and-tear of renovations. BRYJO stands behind their work even after completion. Excellent Company! The best!

We hired Bry-Jo to add on a master suite to our 2200 square foot home. The addition included a walk-in closet, French doors leading out of the bedroom and a new master bath, including a walk-in shower and a separate tub. Bry-Jo helped design custom cabinetry for the 8ft vanity as well as a custom mirror in the bathroom, and creatively used space to make a linen cabinet for us in the entryway to the suite. Other features in the bedroom were a faux brick wall, hardwood floors, and pocket doors. They made the transition seamless between the rest of the house and the new construction. We were very happy with the result.

My husband and I hired Bry-Jo to remodel both of our bathrooms in our home. We had such a great experience. They were professional and the work was completed in a very timely manner. The house was always cleaned each day we received many updates as the work progressed. We would definitely recommend Bry-Jo to any of our friends and family.

BRYJO installed energy-efficient vinyl windows, replaced baseboards and door casings, painted the interior of the house and installed 3 coiling fans. In addition, they designed crafted and installed lovely wood valences for 3 windows. We have used BRYJO for all of our remodels for the past 10 years and have always been extremely pleased.

Bry-Jo completed a full kitchen remodel, family room refresh, powder room remodel and replaced most of the flooring on the first floor of our home. Not only did they accomplish my vision for the rooms, they were professional and courteous. They were able to work around us, taking into consideration the needs of our family and dogs. It made all the difference not having to move out while the work was done.

Bry-Jo remodeled our master bathroom. They worked to meet both our budgetary and design needs. I could not be more impressed with their integrity and work ethic. Highly recommended! Not to mention I love my new bathroom.

Maria Harris of Bry-Jo Roofing and Remodeling had great ideas about how to reshape the space of our master bathroom. She was the only one of 4 to reach our final interview stage who was looked at the space and could see options that others did not see. Maria communicates clearly and asks questions to define the project at hand. She answers questions and completely explains the process. I highly recommend Bry-Jo Roofing and Remodeling and will contract with them again to remodel our entryway, den, kitchen and utility room.

Initially the thoughts of how and what to do with our kitchen update were a bit overwhelming. After a few meetings with Michael and Maria at BRYJO we began to see all the possibilities there were with our update. They had many ideas along with ideas they showed us from the Houzz website. All work was completed on or ahead of schedule. Everyone at BRYJO and their sub-contractors were very friendly, great to work with. With the expertise at BRYJO we got an update that was cosmetic, functional and energy efficient. The final product BRYJO gave us far surpassed anything we expected.

BRYJO did an amazing job on this remodel. As food bloggers, our kitchen is more than just a place to make food. It needed to be a place of inspiration and function. We also needed it done quickly with a meticulous eye for detail but still of the highest quality. BRYJO and their crews delivered on every account.  They held to our short time line and were within budget. We have tons of storage, the open floor plan we always envisioned, and a kitchen that is both beautiful and functional.

My wife and I had the good fortune to find Bry-Jo here on Houzz. As an Architect I deal with a number of commercial contractors and while I respect the majority of them my exception was simply to find one who could simply follow my plans, give us a good bid and maintain a schedule with some reasonable accuracy. Our meetings with other contractors and past experience had sadly tainted my expectations. Upon my first meeting with Maria I knew that we'd found our fit, and my wife (a real estate VP) bonded with Maria on their first meeting. Maria and her team exceeded all expectations - flat out the best experience I've ever had in working with any trade at our home. Maria prepared a 17 page detailed estimate (prior contractor gave us 1/2 a page) - we reviewed it , made some minor changes and got on her calendar for the project start.

A bit about the project - this was a major gut and renovation of a single story 1957 ranch house. While the kitchen was the primary focus the work involved 1,200 sf including all the public shapes (living, dining, den, kitchen, pantry, butler's pantry, 1/2 bath, office and a walk in storage room. All new electrical & lighting, and significant plumbing work as we moved the kitchen into a different part of the house.

The project went very well - naturally there were discoveries along the way, most occurred after demolition was completed and we could see the poor efforts of past contractors (from a 1984 expansion). We worked though changes (and change orders), Again Maria provided detailed paperwork on scope and cost and we made decisions together along the way.

One of the many things I appreciate about Maria is that while she's very respectful, she was not afraid to speak up if she thought we were proposing something that wasn't in our own best interest. She suggested a fairly simple change in our 1/2 bath that made the entire space - I didn't mention that Maria is also a designer, and has the talent to honorably claim that title. She was instrumental in assisting my wife and I in making material selections and we are grateful, as many times it was important to have a knowledgeable third party to provide an objective voice.

The project went well, the schedule was complicated by the amount of construction going on in the market, and the mill work sub-contractor became the critical path item that set the entire schedule. Maria's price was so low on the mill work that I was nervous, that is until I trekked north to visit the father and son outfit and found their work to be well worth waiting for. Another major pleasant surprise!

The results are stunning and after 6 weeks (and 2 holidays) we're still in the 'move in' process. We'll photograph the final results in a few months and post.

In closing, my wife and I feel very fortunate to have found Maria. The relationship was exceptional (and sadly rare). We have one more area to renovate and Maria will be back to do that one. If you’re in the north Dallas area I can't recommend Bry-Jo enough. Exceptional people, excellent communication and value added beyond belief.
